HOLIDAY GIFT PROGRAM
Friends of AVDA hosts an annual toy drive to collect gifts for AVDA’s families. Companies and groups can purchase off AVDA’s wish list or from a retailer of their choice. In 2025, AVDA’s network provided more than 200 children with gifts, books, and stockings. Thank you to our sponsors Tari Eason and Williams Energy and in-kind partners Bracewell LLP and Books Between Kids for spreading holiday joy.
BUILD-A-BACKPACK PROGRAM
In 2025, AVDA provided 100 children with backpacks full of school supplies and books. Thank you to our sponsor Ytterberg Deery Knull and our in-kind partners Good God, Nadine’s, Saint Arnold Brewing Company, and Books Between Kids for your support!
HALLOWEEN
Thanks to the generosity of partner org, Y’alloween, we are able to provide our clients’ children with Halloween costumes and treat bags. Stay tuned for opportunities to decorate AVDA offices and setup for our annual trick-or-treating event.
NEW BEGINNINGS DRIVE
A year-end round drive collecting basic essentials and toiletries for AVDA clients escaping abuse.
