Are you an undergraduate or graduate student pursing a social work degree or a degree in a related field? Have you always wanted to make a direct impact in assisting survivors of domestic abuse? AVDA has in-office internship positions available for students who need to complete required hours in social work or a similar setting.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Receiving calls for intake screenings
- Providing information and resources to callers
- Helping survivors get connected to Advocacy Services and Legal Services
